If you have a home charger, you know how convenient it is to simply plug in your Tesla at night, and in the morning you have almost a full tank. I say almost a full tank because most of us limit the charging to 80% or so. Depending on your home, it is likely that the wall charger will be mounted on a wall closer to where your electrical panel is. When I had the charger installed in my home, this is what we did.
Knowing that the Tesla charging plug is located at the back of the vehicle, I had my electrician locate the charger back further on the wall. Despite all this planning, the cable management from the charger to my Tesla started to become an issue. We have two vehicles, my Tesla and a gas-powered car. My wife strongly preferred to park on the side closer to the Tesla wall charger. Being a good husband, I obliged. The Tesla charging cable could reach my Model Y, but the cable ran behind her car and on the floor. This was less than ideal.
Well, the people behind EV Hover must have experienced the same issue. I was excited to see that they designed an electric vehicle cable management product to alleviate this charging cable issue. This is a great solution to better organize your garage charging. Check out the video review I did on the EV Hover.
